JENNIFER LUSTINA HONORED AS “WOMAN OF INFLUENCE”

JHL Company Executive Recognized By Austin Business Journal for Leadership

AUSTIN, TEXAS—The Austin Business Journal today honored Jennifer Lustina, president and CEO of JHL Company, as a “Women of Influence – Profile in Power.” The award honors the top Central Texas women industry leaders who “have forged their own path and developed their own leadership principles.”

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized in the same breath with some of the most dynamic and successful business leaders in Central Texas,” said Lustina.

Lustina and other award recipients were honored during a luncheon at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center.

This year marks the 17th year that that the Austin Business Journal recognized top women executives with their Profiles in Power awards.  Honorees earn recognition for their successful business record as top executives that also give back to their community.

“I hope that I set an example as a woman who can successfully balance the challenges of operating and building her own successful business with my family and personal interests and passions. I enjoy the opportunities business gives me to meet leaders from all walks of life, to learn from them,” said Lustina.

Lustina founded JHL Company, an Austin-based full-service public affairs, marketing and event management firm, seven years ago. She’s grown the company from a solo practice to a full-time staff of 10 account executives, managers and fundraisers.  She also launched Rocca Productions one year ago. Lustina is a Director in Texas Lyceum, serves on the Board of the Susan G. Komen Austin Affiliate, the Board of the Umlauf Sculpture Garden and Museum and on the Board of the Industrial Partner Advisory Board created by Texas A&M University to support their therapeutics manufacturing workforce development initiative.  A mother of two young children, she is an active member of the Austin Chamber of Commerce and St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.
