Laurie is known for being on the go, a people person, a dog mom to two crazy chihuahuas, Gidget and Shadow, a global traveler, obsessed with sparkly things (like really obsessed), an avid Pinterest Pinner of design, and an aficionado of mid-century modern architecture. 

She is also one of the few people who can say they are a native of Las Vegas. Born and raised! In addition, she has some really fun jobs in hospitality as Rio Rita at the Rio Hotel & Casino and Miss Liberty at the New York - New York Hotel & Casino. Her time in hospitality provided a wonderful foundation for working with people and creating events. Her event experience ranges from casino openings to golf tournaments to social events and celebrations. If she's not out and about in Austin or traveling, you can find her trying out the latest restaurants, raising money for local dog rescues with her proceeds from her book series.
